Riley's bracelets

Ok, now that we have the fun stuff out of the way, I have another issue I would like some input on. I have been debating about not blogging Riley's surgery. I have been contemplating on starting a Caringbridge page, just like I did for the the other 2 kiddos.
Now, If I go the caringbrige route, I would only post on my blog maybe twice just with updates, and do the "play by play" over there. That way, if people don't really want to hear all the "gross" stuff, they can just check here for the progress reports. The other thing is too, I would only invite close friends and family to the caringbridge site.
If people don't mind reading the "play by play" stuff, then I will post here.
Please let me know what your thoughts are.
For you that haven't commented before, commenting is a piece of cake. At the bottom of my post, there is a link that tells you how many comments there are. Click it, and it will take you to the comment section. Write your comment, if you are not a blogger, click anonymous, and make sure you sign your name in your comment so I know who you are.
Thanks!

I dont mind reading the gory stuff here. i say bring it on. Did you get my second post about the bracelets?
those images of your gorgeous riley are so cute cindy! and I can't imagine readers HERE would NOT want to hear about the details of what's going on with Riley... keep me updated- I think of her often.

I don't mind reading play by play here or there. (That is if I would even be invited since I'm not a close family or friend) I would really like to continue reading up on her and the surgery we may be looking at ourselves. I also really like Caringbridge and follow several kiddos we know on those pages too.
Do what you feel is best!
Finally, I'm SO GLAD she's taken a turn for the better!! :-)
I would follow either if invited to the caringbridge. But I think if you blog it, it would keep it down to one area so people know where to look?
I ordered a book for Riley about surgery and the hospital(Usborne). Not sure when its going to be here.
Please keep us posted on Riley's surgery. I don't mind reading any of the details and would really hate not knowing about her surgery. Her care package will be in the mail this week so please look for it!

I love reading your blog so if I do not want to read the "bad" things I can just skip over. It might be much easier for you to just do it here that way everyone does not have to go back and forth with each of the sites.
Take care and think of you often.

I am so glad that Mike gave me the site address. I love to check up on the kids. I would like to hear the play by play. I hope you choose to post here. I can't wait to spend the weekend with the rest of the crew while you and Riley are in Chicago.

Whatever makes the most sense for you to update and the least amount of work! I can't imagine keeping up with one site, let alone 2.
As for the gory stufff.... well, ... LOL

I would love to still be able to read about Riley's surgery. I'd like us to all be able to support you as well. It will be good for you to be able to vent however you want, when you want.
BTW I LOVE the pics you posted of your children. They are adorable! (and thank you for the compliments on mine)
Honestly I don't mind the play by play here. Either way make sure we know how she is going!
Love the pictures.
Hi Riley my name is Emily Lemaire. I have a Chiari too. I am almost 6. I had the same surgery 3 years ago. The hospital is cool. You get lots of presents. You can order food just like room service and a cool room mate that you can play with sometimes. Thy have popsicles all day and night if you want. Sometimes it is not to much fun but you get mom and dad all to yourself. My dad always massaged my legs that felt good. My mom always knew when I was bored and needed to have a change like going for a wagon ride to the play room. That helped a lot. My mom says please let us know how you are doing. God Bless, Emily Lemaire and her Mom Julie
Hi Cindy,
Never mind my e-mail--you answered most on your blog. I now put it under favorites so I can easily find it. Keep us informed, Thinking of you and the family often.
I just stumbled unto your site but I would encourage you to post it where all can see. People care and if they don't care they won't read the blog anyway. The more people know the details the more people can pray. from, gramma_s at Xanga
